Fashion design - What I've already done
I'm Vanessa Versiani, I've been working in the fashion industry for over forty years, I'm an innovator by nature, and below I show some of my creations, most of them made by me too. Among the creations I've made, the profile is more commercial - and yet, innovative - because I prefer to execute complex pieces only when I'm paid for it, as their cost is always high. I have experience creating men's and women's fashion, accessories and bags, although I don't have images of all the products I've created, as for most of my career I wasn't aware of the importance of this record. I don't show drawings here (I have many of them).
On the left (above), a long-sleeved black machine-knit wool blouse. On its front, a wide square neckline is filled with textured brown wool knit, forming a loose turtleneck. On the back, a triangular detail with a rounded toe has been applied, with a texture different from the body.
In the center (above), a halter dress machine-knitted in summer-appropriate yarns. A blue sash at the back maintains the dress's structure. The skirt features an asymmetrical overlay with crochet trim. The mix of colors and textures enriches the piece, which is given a sophisticated air by the textured, multicolored collar.
To the right (above), a long-sleeved machine-knit dress made with a maxi T-shirt structure, with summer-appropriate lines and enriched with triangular applications of colors and textures different from those of the body to give the piece a unique and eye-catching movement.
On the right, above, a twill jacket with an internal lining and acrylic batting between the fabrics to make the piece more appropriate for winter, closed with a removable front zipper, hand-stitched with contrasting thread to form abstract and irregular designs.
On the right, above, a bodysuit knitted in summer-appropriate yarn and finished with two metal buttons at the bottom.
I will update this page with new images whenever there are new creations to display, and as I find old creations in my archives.
